Important Reminders for PSJ Exhibitors

The Basics: Wear a mask, stay 6' apart, wash your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer.

YOU MUST WEAR A MASK ON THE SHOWGROUNDS AT ALL TIMES UNLESS YOU ARE ON A HORSE!

Riders do not need to wear a mask while mounted unless they want to.
Per USEF rules, you will not  be penalized if you wear a face covering while in the show ring.

Only essential participants are allowed on the show grounds:

Trainers, Grooms, Riders and 1 parent/guardian if the rider is a minor.
No spectators or additional family members.

Show grounds are closed to the public.

Anyone who is approved to come onto the show grounds MUST complete the PSJ Entrance Affidavit upon arrival. You can only give this form to security at the entrance to the showgrounds. You will be given a wrist band to wear all week.

Please take you temperature prior to entering the show. If you have a temperature of 99.5 F or above or have symptoms of COVID, do NOT come to the horse show!

Temperatures will be taken of everyone entering the showgrounds on a daily basis with a non contact forehead thermometer. If we scan your temperature and it's above 99.5 you will NOT be admitted onto the show grounds.

All officials, volunteers, trainers, riders, owners and parent/guardian of minor that will be on the show grounds MUST complete and sign the mandatory USEF Waiver and Liability Release.

Take out food vendor will be on site.  We encourage everyone to bring their own food if possible. 

There are also restaurants in the area that offer take out and delivery.

Limited supply vendors will be on site.

Trainers are responsible for their stabling area.  Only trainers, grooms and essential personnel
(farrier, vet, etc) are allowed in the stabling tents and must be properly socially distanced.

Braiding is allowed.

USEF Requirement:  All individuals must practice social distancing (or physical distancing) at all times while on the competition grounds by staying at least six feet (about two arms’ length) from any person who is not a member of their immediate household. 
  • An immediate household is comprised of individuals who may or may not be related but are consistently living in the same house or dwelling.
  • Members of an immediate household are still required to wear face masks/face coverings when there is a possibility of being within six feet of any other individuals, including members of their own household.

2020 COVID-19 POLICY AND RULES
For Hunter Farms North Horse Shows
 
Effective June 1, 2020  Until Further Notice
Anyone entering Hunter Farms North 246 Burnt Hill Road, Skillman, NJ (HFN) must adhere to the 2020 Covid-19 Policy and Rules while on the property. Those admitted and found not in compliance with the Rules will be asked to leave the site and will not be allowed re-entry. Additionally, all Federal, State and local laws that may be applicable at the time of entry must be followed.
 
Management reserves the right to change the rules at any time as necessary.

  • Temperatures will be taken at the entrance to the farm all day, every day. Anyone with a fever, a temperature of 99.5° (37.5° C) or above per USEF mandatory competition requirements, will not allowed to enter or be given access to the site. There will be no exceptions.
  • All participants, licensed officials and volunteers must provide emergency contact information and sign an updated Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement provided by USEF.
  • Persons granted admission will follow the New Jersey Governor’s executive orders requiring all people in New Jersey to wear masks or face coverings in public (except when mounted on a horse), and maintain a 6-foot distance (one horse’s length) from others at all times. A participant cannot be disqualified or penalized for wearing a facemask or face covering while competing. The use of gloves is recommended.
  • If you are experiencing ANY of the symptoms related to the Covid-19 virus, PLEASE STAY HOME and contact your healthcare professional. For a list of symptoms visit: www.cdc.gov
  • HFN is open only to Essential People only. Trainers, Riders, Grooms, Owners, Competition Staff and parents attending solely as a minor’s guardian. NO SPECTATORS, NO additional Family or Friends are allowed.
  • Trainers will be held responsible for their barns and ensuring that those affiliated with their barns adhere to the rules. Please discuss with everyone the importance of following the HFN Rules.
  • There are numerous Hand Sanitizers located throughout the site, please use them frequently. Please avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • DO NOT LITTER. Please use trash receptacles properly so the staff does not have to touch contaminated items that may have been discarded improperly.
  • In our Farm/Show office. Please remain 6’ apart and behind the Plexiglass barriers.
  • In any stabling tent you must wear a mask and always remain 6 feet apart.
  • There will be NO CONGREGATING anywhere on the site. In the event of a storm, please shelter in your car and do not gather in a tent or barn.
  • Courses, Orders of Go, Start Times and Important Information will be posted on www.horseshowing.com
  • No one will be allowed within 6 feet of any of the In Gate tents/staff.
  • Only one horse and one trainer at a time will be allowed at all in gates of all rings.
  • Ribbons and Awards can be picked up in our AWARDS Tent.
  • HFN Touch Surfaces will be disinfected daily but we all need to do our part. Please make the effort to frequently clean, disinfect and sanitize all surfaces and equipment that you or others may encounter.
